QUALITY CHIC tracked the early leader two deep racing in hand, asked nearing the five sixteenths pole, took command near the three sixteenths pole and edged away under strong handling. TRIDENT HIT rated along to be reserved behind the top trio, moved up from the inside into the upper stretch and rallied well through the drive three deep between rivals. ELUSIVE TARGET raced near the back early on, asked into the far turn, saved ground past the five sixteenths pole, swung five wide into the upper stretch and moved to improve position. THUNDERIAN stalked the pace, raced four wide near the three sixteenths pole and had no final winning bid. EXPENSIVE CUT set his own uncontested early pace and faltered the final eighth of a mile. COPPERMASTER dropped back early on, saved ground and never threatened. GASOLINE raced mid pack early, was three to four wide in the drive and failed to sustain a bid.
