MAUI STRONG settled off the early going racing in hand, moved up from the outside through the far turn, raced six wide into the upper stretch and surged up under strong handling. PLENSA prompt the early leader two from the outside, took command through the far turn, dug in deep stretch but missed in a game effort. FINAL GAMBIT took up at the break, unhurried early on to racing in hand near the inside, angled out to race from the far outside in the stretch and rallied well late. LEBOWSKI stalked the pace, raced three to two wide in the drive and had no final winning bid. STIGLETS raced six to four wide around the first turn, stalked from the outside down the backstretch, raced four deep around the far turn, took aim through the upper stretch and flattened out. ZAP D'ETAT was allowed to settle early, made a three to five wide bid through the stretch but needed more. DON'T BACKDOWN checked off of rival's heels and shifted out into the first turn, stalked the pace three deep and faded. GRIM REAPER raced mid pack, saved ground around the far turn into the stretch and lacked a rally. MAJOR MISCHIEF raced three to four wide and had no response. KYE void of early speed, raced five wide into the upper stretch and never was a factor. CAPTAIN FANCY set a pressured early pace and faded. HAMLIN stalked the pace from the inside and tired.
