OVERSTATEMENT was forwardly placed through early stages, vied for the lead around the far turn, took a slim lead past upper stretch then drifted in which forced close running PARKWAY to shift out, kept under a drive and held late. PARKWAY vied for the lead in the opening quarter, continued to match strides around the far turn, got headed by OVERSTATEMENT past upper stretch, steadied when aforementioned rival drifted in, shifted out under right handed encouragement, brushed with outside running STELLAR VINO and regained some ground in close stages. STELLAR VINO rated three to four wide off the to trio, picked up the tempo mid-way around the far turn, sustained an outside bid into stretch, steadily edged up closer, was forced a couple paths wider and brushed by PARKWAY in late stages but kept continued to gain to the wire. COPPER ECHO vied for the lead in the opening quarter, continued to duel through the backstretch, got collared late on the far turn and tired in the drive. MO RUM rated off the early pace, roused five wide at the head of the lane, shifted in a couple paths and failed to move on. COACH CAMPBELL settled off the early pace, saved ground then angled out a couple paths in the drive and failed to move on. HIGH ENOUGH raced off the pace and failed to gain a threatening position. GAME KEEPER raced in the back throughout. STEWARDS POSTED INQUIRY AND JOCKEY OF PARKWAY LOGED CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST OVERSTATEMENT, AFTER LOOKING AT ACTIONS IN THE STRETCH RUN, STEWARDS RULED NO CHANGE
