CODE OMAHA settled off the early going, moved up five wide into the upper stretch and finished well to get up under strong encouragement. RED HOT ROD prompt the early pace two deep from the outside, dueled through the far turn and kept on gamely to the wire. DEWY'S BEAST showed good early speed, came in nearing the half mile pole, forced Sound Doctrine, Flotation Station to take up. dueled through the far turn and kept on willingly to the wire. SOUND DOCTRINE sent along from the inside, checked sharply nearing the half mile pole, saved ground through the far turn, angled out through the upper stretch and moved up improve position. EXPRESS CRUISER was off slowly, swung wide into the upper stretch and needed more. FLOTATION STATION raced two deep early, checked nearing the half mile pole and weakened. A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REVIEWING THE ACTIONS AT THE FIVE FURLONG POLE RESULTED IN DEWY'S BEST BEING DSQUALIFIED AND PLACED SIXTH.
