VODKA N GINGERALE dislodged his rider pre-race before being remounted without further incident, stalked along the inside, loomed a danger from the pocket around the turn, slipped inside of the leader to offer a rail bid in upper stretch, took contact from that rival at the three sixteenths pole, sparred while kept in tight through the final furlong and prevailed. SPENARD bumped an outer rival leaving the chute, set a pressured pace along the inside, vacated the rail entering the lane, shifted in and bumped a rail bidder passing the three sixteenths pole, dueled with that foe through the final furlong but was bested. PIQUANT chased forwardly in the three path and between horses, sustained pursuit shifting to the four to five path entering the lane, edged show from an inner rival at the furlong grounds and was no match for the top pair. ACE ON THE TURN was bumped between rivals and checked back leaving the chute, tracked from midpack along the inside, advanced inside of rivals entering the lane, tipped out to bid for show along with an outer foe at the furlong grounds, but got outkicked, flattened out and just lasted for fourth. STAYGOLDPONYBOY broke slowly, laid off of the pace along the inside, crept closer in the two to three path around the turn before briefly awaiting racing room nearing the lane in the four path, then ran on between horses. MISTER ROSSO tracked in the four path, chased in the five to six path into the lane and lacked a bid. REAL CONVICTION pressed three wide but faded in upper stretch and weakened. BIG BOURBON RIVER got rank behind foes soon after the start, lacked speed in the three to four path and failed to factor. WAYLLEN RICHARD broke slowly and steadied back at the start, trailed along the inside and got outrun. BONIFIED CRAZY bumped with an inner pair while leaving the chute, prompted two wide and between horses but weakened turning for home. HOPE OF GLORY chased forwardly three wide and between horses for a quarter mile, but weakened with nine sixteenths to go and was done early.
