Footnotes
DONUT GOD brushed with an outer rival at the start, sped to the front early on, set the pace along the inside, drew off entering the lane and held sway with good energy. EL PRESTIGIO stalked along the inside, tipped out to take aim outside of the clearing leader entering upper stretch, then chased that one home well to prove second best. MOTEL PATEL chased forwardly along the inside, claimed show from an outer rival at the three sixteenths pole, tipped to the three path chasing into the final furlong, staved off an inner show bidder through the final sixteenth and lasted from a pair of late outer challengers. SPICED UP pursued from midpack five deep early on, chased tucking down to three path behind foes around the turn, ran on in the two path in upper stretch, offered an inside bid for show at the sixteenth pole, but was denied and narrowly lasted for fourth. GETTINBY bumped an inner rival while off slow, laid well back in the four path, swung out to the six to seven path into the lane, floated wider by an inner foe at the three sixteenths pole, rallied widest in the final furlong and missed show at the wire. PAIR OF SOCKS broke a step slow, tucked inwardly leaving the half mile pole, laid off of the pace in the three path, entered the lane in the five path, shfited out to the seven path at the three sixteenths pole, rallied along with an outer rival in the final furlong but needed more for a minor share. MIRACLE ON CENTRAL steadied back from between horses shortly after the start, laid off of the pace along the inside, shied subtly from an outer foe approaching the turn, shifted out to the four path into upper stretch and moved up inside of foes late. OUTOFPI stalked two wide, then between horses turning for home, got floated to the four path entering the lane and tired while hanging on his left lead. GRAYDARIA broke a beat slow, tracked four deep, floated to the six path into the lane and gave way between horses. BON TEMPS brushed with an inner foe leaving the gate, tracked three wide and between horses, spun into the lane in the five path and faded among rivals. TIP TOE JOE broke slowly and was bumped by an outer rival at the start, lagged behind in the three path and got outrun.
