ITSINMYBLOOD prompted outside of the leader and from the three path, cleared that faltering foe with three furlongs to go, maintained a margin into deep stretch and held from a late outer challenger. SHOTGUN pursued from midpack in the five to three path around the first turn, gained between horses turning for home, closed in gradually along the inside, brushed an outer rival claiming place late, closed in to attempt a bid at the wire but missed. DESPERATE PROPOSAL transferred contact from an inner rival to an outer foe entering the first turn, stalked two wide and between horses, gained place turning for home before taking aim outside of the leader entering the lane, but only managed to chase that one thereafter and was brushed while losing place to an inner foe late. KICKING CLEAR bumped an outer foe entering the first turn, tracked along the inside, chased into the lane and was best of the rest. G. ERIK was bumped by an inner rival into an outer foe and steadied entering the first turn, stalked outside of the top pair and from the four path, but weakened entering the lane. CAVANAL was bumped by an inner rival and steadied entering the first turn, laid off of the pace in the four to two path early on, took the far turn in the four path and made little impact. GRAND MORNING trailed in the three to four path, swung out to the seven path into the lane and was outrun. BALTORO tucked from the five path to the rail while off of the pace around the first turn, saved ground before moving out entering the lane and failed to factor. SPURIOUS set the pace inside of the eventual winner while a path off of the inside around the first turn, but wilted around the far turn and was eased through the lane.
