CAIRO STREET veered outwardly at the start, laid off of the pace in the four path, tipped out five wide at the half mile pole, progressed to offer a bold bid outside of the top pair leaving the three furlong pole, drew clear while tucking to the inside entering the lane, opened up under a drive in upper stretch and held sway safely. SPLASH MASTER tracked inside of rivals while a bit off of the inside around the turn, advanced tipping to the three to four path into the lane, forged place from an inner rival while chasing the clear leader into the final furlong, closed in late as an outer foe bid for place and narrowly saved that position. CURLIN'S MAGIC trailed early on, improved in the five to six path around the turn, rallied widest to offer a bid for place in the closing stages but missed. EDGE OF TOWN broke a step slow while being subtly put to tight quarters between foes at the start, laid off of the pace along the inside, split foes two wide in upper stretch and ran on to edge show from an outer foe in the final sixteenth. TAMMY'S CRUISER vied for the lead two wide, got outkicked by an outer challenger nearing the five sixteenths pole, chased in the three path in upper stretch, lost place at the furlong grounds and faded between horses at the sixteenth pole. SMART WITH HEART pressed outside of the top pair early on, chased them from between horses around the turn and faded. CANDY CRAZE chased forwardly four wide, got outmoved by an outer rival into the turn, floated five wide into the lane and gave way. CAMP AKEELA vied with an outer rival into the turn, got outkicked by an outer bidder turning for home and weakened.
