MASSETO (GB) was a bit reluctant to load, then broke slowly, settled well back in the two path, swung out nine wide into upper stretch, rallied widest while flopping leads to bid at the furlong grounds, led leaving that station and held from a late outer challenger. MISCHIEVOUS ROGUE broke a step slow, trailed in the three path, fanned out to the eight path entering the lane, pursued before tipping wider at the furlong grounds, rallied to bid outside of the new leader in the closing stages but ran out of ground. B D VALESKI laid off of the pace in the two path, shifted out eight wide in upper stretch, rallied between horses to vie for place into the final sixteenth, but got outkicked. GILDED RULER tracked from midpack along the inside, shifted to the three path in upper stretch, split foes three wide to bid for the lead among foes at the furlong grounds, but flattened out. PORTOFINO pursued from midpack in the three to two path, shifted seven wide in upper stretch, progressed to bid among foes at the furlong grounds, but was outkicked and flattened out. BAD BEAT BRIAN tracked in the three path around the turn, took aim entering the lane in the five path, got brushed six wide by an inner rival in upper stretch, bid and wrestled a narrow advantage in midstretch, but yielded between horses in the final furlong. URBAN LEGEND stalked behind the leaders and from the two path into the turn, encountered traffic entering the lane, brushed an outer rival while shifting five wide in upper stretch, offered a mild bid among foes at the furlong grounds and tired. FOXTROTANNA prompted three deep, vied around the turn, led narrowly in the four path in upper stretch, but was headed between bidders at the furlong grounds and gave way. BUSHIDO vied for the lead two wide and between horses, but faded entering the lane. OUTADORE vied for the lead with a pair of outer rivals around the turn, then faded at the quarter pole.
