Footnotes
MAGNITUDE put an inner rival in tight while pressing the leader from the three path into the first turn, got rank under restraint around that bend, sustained pressure down the backstretch, forged an advantage into the far turn, led in hand as rivals chased on each side turning for home, came under urging as an outer rival bid in upper stretch, dug in gamely and held firm. CALIFORNIA BURRITO tracked along the inside, then in the three path and between horses around the far turn, split foes to issue a bid outside of the leader entering upper stretch, dueled with that one into the final furlong but was kept at bay thereafter. IRON SHARPENS IRON laid off of the pace three wide, trailed, took the far turn in the two path and improved between horses in upper stretch. ANALOG JONES raced forwardly two wide and between horses, steadied back when put to tight quarters by an outer foe approaching the seven furlong pole, shifted out to the four path into the backstretch, chased within striking range in the four path around the far turn, but drifted to the six path into the lane and faded. FIRMUS set the pace inside of the eventual winner, got headed by that one at the three furlong pole and weakened.
