Footnotes
VITTORIO vied for the lead with an outer rival, dueled with that one while remaining in the two path around the turn, shook free in upper stretch and drew off under a drive. CASHMEUP took firm contact from an inner rival at the start, dueled for the lead outside of the eventual winner while kept in the three path around the turn, yielded to that one while hanging on his left lead in upper stretch and was second best. HARVARD pursued two wide and between horses approaching the turn and ran on mildly. BOURBON LIFE leaned out and bumped a rival at the start, chased along the inside, faded into the turn, yet regained stride nearing the lane and improved position. SUMMER IN AIKEN raced forwardly three wide and between horses early on, but faded leaving the chute, trailed in the four path around the turn and made little impact. CHRYSO ALOGO chased three wide and tired.
