HAUNTED FLAME broke a step slow, laid off of the pace in the two path, gained ground in the four path around the turn, fanned to the six path into the lane, gained place before lugging inwardly in midstretch, yet sustained his charge to reel in the leader in time. STORM THE STREETS bumped with an inner rival at the start, prompted three deep, vied in the four path into the turn, gained an advantage with three furlongs to go, assumed command and drew clear turning for home, opened up under a drive in upper stretch, but was put to a mild left handed flagging in the final sixteenth and got nailed by an outer bidder nearing the wire. STUNNING BRUNO chased from midpack along the inside, tipped out and encountered brief traffic in the five path entering the lane, altered out in upper stretch, bid for show at the furlong grounds, brushed with an inner rival while dueling for that position in the late stages and held. GOLDEN ICE tracked in the five path, got outkicked for minor placings by an outer rival in upper stretch, vied for show with a different outer bidder at the furlong grounds, dueled and brushed with that one late but missed show at the wire. MAN OF MISCHIEF laid off of the pace in the four to five path, tucked down to the three path into upper stretch, shifted out to the six path in midstretch and moved up before holding fifth late. MR LEE brushed with an inner rival leaving the gate, lagged behind in the three to five path, tipped wider in midstretch and improved position to miss fifth. ADIOS KID broke a step slow, lacked speed in the two path and improved position. WORDS OF FORTUNE bumped with an outer foe leaving the gate, vied two wide and between horses while taking the turn in the three path, proved no match for his outer counterpart around the bend and tired. WINTER CREEK led narrowly from an outer pair of prompters early on, proved no match for his widest counterpart approaching the five sixteenths pole and weakened. MORALLY brushed with an outer rival at the start, stalked along the inside and weakened. FINANCIAL WHIZ chased forwardly two wide, but weakened between horses around the turn.
