Footnotes
CANISIUS transferred light contact from an inner rival to an outer foe leaving the gate, pursued from midpack in the five path and between horses early on, came under a drive whlie yielding position in the four path into the turn, regained stride under urging while shifting out turning for home, spun for home in the six path, ranged up to bid in upper stretch, led into the final furlong and drove clear while hanging on his left lead. SHARP SWINGER tracked in the six to five path and outside of rivals into the turn, crept closer in the four path turning for home, bid for the lead while getting floated to the five path into the lane, drifted in while vying as an outer rival bid in upper stretch, got outkicked by that one at the furlong grounds, sparred for place thereafter and narrowly prevailed between horses. MINTASTIC leaned out and brushed a rival leaving the gate, stalked in the four to three path and between horses into the turn, offered a mild bid in the four path and between horses entering teh lane, but got outkicked shortly after, kept on in the final furlong to offer a late bid for place between rivals but just missed. CONCRETE CRUISER laid off of the pace in the three path, chase din upper stretch before moving out to the six path at the furlong grounds, stayed on late and missed reaching place. J DAVID vied with an outer rival into and around the turn, led in upper stretch, but got headed by a pair of outer bidders in midstretch, vied for place through the final sixteenth but was bested late. ALL THE LUCK tracked along the inside, chased into the lane, altered course outwardly to the seven path in midstretch and stayed on mildly. STEEL VENGEANCE chased forwardly in the three to two path, then between horses nearing the lane, shifted inwardly in upper stretch, evenly sustained pursuit thereafter but lacked rail room in the late stages. GYPSY DREAMING vied two wide, drifted to the three path as outer rivals bid entering the lane, then faded between horses in upper stretch. ONLY THE GOOD got loose behind the gate, then broke a beat slow, lacked speed in the three path and made little impact. CANDYLAND PHIL was brushed by an inner rival at the start, trailed in the four path and got outrun.
