Footnotes
PINFIRE set a clear pace in the two path, remained under confident handling entering the lane before being set down with three sixteenths to go, changed leads at the furlong grounds and held sway well, then was found to have bled. GUILE broke a step slow and steadied whlie leaning outwardly at the start, laid off of the pace in the two path, gained ground shifting out to the three to four path and between horses turning for home, sustained progress to gain place at the furlong grounds and was second best. LEAD FOOT laid off of the pace four wide, inched closer getting floated to the path turning for home, but leveled off in pursuit in upper stretch and edged show late. KOSHER CAPONE tracked three wide gained place at the five sixteenths pole, got outkicked by an outer rival in upper stretch, yielded and lost show late. PRINTS MONEY stalked two wide and between horses, chased into the lane and gave way. EL GUNNER chased forwardly along the inside but faded turning for home. MERLOTTI trailed in the three path and made little impact.
