BLESSED CANDY broke a bit outward bumping with VANAKA, straightened and nudged up to the early lead, was taken to rate off an outer foe leaving the three quarter pole and stalked while saving ground, exchanged a brush with an outer foe nearing the turn, eased out three to four wide into the lane, forged to command outside GOLDEN PHILLY with a furlong remaining, kicked clear while being steadily hand ridden then coasted the final yards. MY DEAR ANTONIA , four wide stalking under urging, took closer order mid turn, shifted out a bit wider in upper stretch, churned on and nabbed the place in the final yards. GOLDEN PHILLY steadied back off of a rival in the opening furlong, angled out and rushed up between foes near the five eighths, brushed with an inner rival, bid three wide outside the leader soon after, took over into the lane, failed to contain the outer charge of BLESSED CANDY near the furlong grounds, faded and lost the place late. THE FEISTY ONE , off the pace and under a ride four wide around the turn, raced on its left lead nearing mid stretch and came up empty. VANAKA, bumped at the break, recovered and moved to command from the outside in the opening furlong, set the pace in about the two path, took pressure into and around the turn, failed to find more past the three sixteenths and weakened.
