Footnotes
SUMMERINTHECOUNTRY prompted the pace outside STORMIN SAMMY, drifted out entering the stretch, closed late and was up at the finish. STORMIN SAMMY sped to the early lead, remained along the rail setting the pace, went clear leaving the turn, was still clear in mid stretch and gave way grudgingly. HYDRUS bobbled at the start, chased the pace inside horses on the turn, drifted four wide turning for home, remained on his left lead and lacked the needed rally. KALADIN saved ground on the turn, was under urging midway on the turn, stayed along the inner rail in the stretch and leveled off. LATIN REBEL , never far back, raced in the two path on the turn, remained in the two path between horses in the stretch and failed to menace in an even effort. FALCON BLUE hopped at the break, was kept well off the inner rail around the turn, moved to the five path in upper stretch and trailed.
