MENDYS HONEY vied three deep early on, emerged in battle outside POETICA leaving the half, dueled under stout right handed encouragement leaving mid stretch, spurted clear inside the sixteenth pole and held firm while kept to task. MY FLICKER eased back off foes soon after the break, dropped in to save ground, steadied behind rivals leaving the half mile marker, angled out and circled five to six wide into the stretch, straightened away and closed steadily through the final furlong. GOLDEN ROCKET stalked the leading trio into the turn, stayed close while under a ride mid turn, eased out a bit and edged up between foes near mid stretch then kept on willingly to gain the show. POETICA broke outward brushing a rival, corrected and was sent up to dispute the pace inside a pair of foes, vied two wide and to the inside of the winner from the three eighths to about the sixteenth marker then faded late. MATTITUDE , a bit fractious in the gate, chased off the inside, quickly gained four deep and applied pressure mid turn, chased five wide to mid stretch then came up empty. SUMMER ODDS , brushed at the start, drafted off the early pace while saving ground, eased out and edged up three wide into the lane, worked between, angled to the rail past the three sixteenths, failed to sustain past mid stretch and faded. CUZ UR PRETTY sparred inside a pair of runners early on, steadied back off foes near the half, regrouped to chase inside, failed to kick on in upper stretch, faded then was angled out. BEST CUPCAKE chased three deep, advanced four wide between runners past the three eighths, forced the issue into the lane then weakened leaving the three sixteenths.
