VILLAGE PERSON , fractious in the gate, was nudged up early and prompted the pace outside ZIO LINO went on the attack leaving the half, was soon joined from the outside and sparred three wide between runners from mid turn to upper stretch, took over past the three sixteenths, edged clear under a drive near the sixteenth pole then held firm while being shown the crop through the final seventy yards. ENDURING GOLD rushed up soon after the break and stalked outside foes, bid three deep mid turn, battled outside rivals into the lane, emerged as the most serious threat to the winner leaving mid stretch, stayed well but was kept at bay through the final sixteenth. ZIO LINO sprinted clear early and set a rated pace towards the inner rail, dug in when joined leaving the half, fought on to the inside of foes from the three eighths to upper stretch, could not quite kick on in mid stretch and faded. BOUNDFORABRUISIN edged up early then dropped in to stalk the pace, had aim of the embattled trio mid turn, swung out for the drive and kept on with effort. WISH ON JUBA, fractious in the gate when reacting to another foe, saved ground off the pace, was urged along around the turn, stayed inside for the drive, finished up willingly and kept on with a decent gallop out. GUCCI VISION was lightly steadied soon after the break, moved up four wide to be close nearing the half, chased four wide into the stretch, lacked a punch and faded. THE COLDEST ONE , sluggish from the gate, was climbing early and failed to get involved.
