Footnotes
FLY PELICAN broke well, disputed the pace outside CHUCKY OUR LAW, repelled that one inside the eighth pole then edged clear under steady encouragement. NANCIE'S BOY , four deep leaving the backstretch, chased the pace outside horses around the turn, came into the stretch in four path and finished gamely outside the winner. LET FLY broke awkwardly, chased the pace from the two path on the turn, swung to the five path entering the stretch, remained on his left lead, drifted out late and passed tired rivals. CHUCKY OUR LAW hugged the inner rail dueling with the winner to the eighth pole then gradually weakened in the drive. CITY PANDA lacked speed, raced in the three path on the turn, moved to the four path at the head of the stretch and failed to rally. TYSON'S DELIVERY briefly chased the early pace from the two path and gave way entering the turn.
