Footnotes
EASTBOSTONBENNY accelerated to a clear, early lead, was kept well off the inner rail around the turn, drifted out in upper stretch, drifted in in mid stretch and was under brisk urging in the drive. MEDAGOOCH , bumped by MUCHO TIGGER leaving the starting gate, saved ground on the turn chasing the winner, swung to the four path in upper stretch, drifted in in mid stretch and finished gamely. BEN'S HERO lacked speed, stayed along the inner rail on the turn, moved to the three path in upper stretch and failed to menace in an even effort. NOLA BOSS , unhurried down the backstretch, raced in the two path between horses on the turn, found room along the inner rail through the stretch and weakened. MUCHO TIGGER came in bumping MEDAGOOCH at the start, circled the turn four deep, floated to the six path in upper stretch and gave way. BISHOP MEADE saved ground on the turn chasing the winner then faltered in upper stretch.
