Footnotes
KEEPSAKE got into a duel outside MO ARGENTO soon after the start, carried that battle into and around the turn, was unfazed as an outer BELLE OFTHE WOOD moved up three deep to join the fray into the lane, shook clear under stout encouragement leaving the furlong marker then held firm to the wire. BELLE OFTHE WOOD rated kindly tracking the embattled leaders, edged up in hand and bid three deep past the five sixteenths, forced the issue outside the winner soon into the lane, could not quite quicken with that one near the eighth pole but stayed on well to be clearly second best. FROSTED DREAMS edge up behind rivals nearing the turn then steadied off heels when a bit keen, regrouped and chased the sparring trio in upper stretch, drifted inward and switched over to the left lead when asked right handed near the sixteenth pole, corrected and kept on willingly to gain the show. MO ARGENTO disputed the pace to the inside of KEEPSAKE, stayed on to battle inside rivals from the quarter pole to about mid stretch then weakened. OLD FASHION CANDY , outsprinted under urging early on, raced off the rail in upper stretch and failed to generate a rally.
