ZEVON stalked the pace two wide throughout and made a two wide bid leaving the turn and hit the front nearing the furlong marker and kicked clear to prove best under a drive. ORATOR was three wide into the first turn, moved in to be rated two wide angled out leaving the turn and finished well late to gain the place award. POWER OF WILL set the pace on the inside and was well handled controlling the pace, was headed nearing the furlong marker and angled off the rail nearing the sixteenth marker and lost the place award late. CURVED was taken back early and trailed, moved out on the far turn and came five wide off the bend and had a belated rally. ASTAR was well placed along the inside and boxed nearing the quarter pole, tipped out two wide leaving the turn but was empty. COOPER had a shoe repair in the paddock, settled along the inside and had no rally. IT'S ELECTRIC was three wide into the first turn and advanced three wide on the far turn and came four wide into the lane and weakened. SAFE AT HOME was reserved two wide and failed to menace. Jockeys OBJECTION the number four versus the number three concerning the run in the stretch, after the STEWARDS reviewed the replays the OBJECTION was disallowed. Race was Hand timed.
