THE INSIDER (IRE) set an early pace was challenged by an outside opponent after the eighth jump and was headed and was passed briefly before coming back again, drew off nearing the furlong marker under steady rider encouragement to prove best. PARLIAMENT HILL (GB) was settled mid pack between rivals, bobbled slightly on the sixth jump, made a bid nearing the ninth jump, advanced along the outside on the turn passing rivals but was no match for the winner. BEE WELL was a bit rank early, reserved between opponents weakened briefly mid way through the second circuit, angled out through the final turn and made a bid widest. L'AVVOCATO (FR) was off slowly at the flag drop, trailed behind the pack, made a bid entering the final turn and split rivals mid way, vied between opponents in the stretch but just missed. ARTISTIC CHOICE (IRE) was reserved early towards the back of the pack, made a bid outside an opponents at the ninth jump and briefly pulled ahead but weakened. RUCKER ROAD (IRE) chased behind the lead early, was clear of the pack nearing the final turn but faltered. LIGHTNING ROD was settled early, made a bid entering the final turn, shifted in the final furlong but weakened. HOLD HARD (IRE) was rated along the inside rail, but tired out after the ninth hurdle. THEOCRAT (IRE) steadied entering the first turn between its rivals, settled off the pace and was not a factor. STEWARDS INQUIRY into the stretch, after reviewing the replays the race there we're no changes made.
