Footnotes
GRAND OPENING was away alertly then rated back and settled into stride, three to four wide on the turn and came five wide by the quarter pole to make a bid and be clear by the furlong marker and then held on late to prove best under a drive. OPTICAL was allowed to settle early, three to two path on the turn, moved to the inside by the quarter pole and slipped thru by the furlong marker and closed well to just miss. CHANGE MY WORLD pressed the pace three wide and made a bid between rivals on the turn to vie for command, continued on leaving the bend before fading in the final furlong. KIRIN tracked the pace and was two to three wide on the turn, moved out looking for room leaving the turn but was blocked, then ran on willingly in the final furlong to miss the show award. MISTER LINCOLN vied for the lead on the inside but weakened in the final furlong. MASTER MULE vied for the lead two wide and then between rivals on the turn but weakened in the drive. SANTOS TO WILSON veered out badly at the break, then chased the pace on the outside and made a five wide early bid on the turn but came up empty in the drive.
