Footnotes
DAUFUSKIE ISLAND was away alertly and soon clear to set the pace unchallenged on the inside, moved off the inside leaving the turn to be in the four path leaving the turn and drew off under mild right handed crop urging and then was wrapped up late to prove much the best. SAN COSTANTINO stalked the winner two wide and was three wide by the quarter pole but proved to be no match for the winner while staying on for the place award. BIGDADDYSBOY was reserved early, two to three path on the turn and swung out six wide leaving the turn and had a mild late kick. BANDITS HEART was settled early and three to two wide on the turn and weakened. SUMO broke in and bumped a foe at the start, reserved early, three to four wide on the turn and was seven wide by the quarter pole and had no rally. IMTAKINITTOTHEBANK was bumped at the break, keen on the inside and a bit hard to handle the first quarter of a mile, then settled into stride but came up empty in the drive. NO ANGEL was allowed to settle early and moved to the inside on the turn and was not a factor.
