PRESIDER showed the way while clear on the inside and was well handled and sent down leaving the three sixteenths and kept clear to the wire to prove best under a drive. LAZLO was hard held on the inside early, continued to save ground to upper stretch and tipped out two wide leaving the turn to have aim on the winner but could not gain on that rivals while keeping on to be second best. MICKEY SHILLELAGH was rated along the inside and moved out to be three wide off the bend but had no punch in the drive while besting the rest. MY BOY TONY was allowed to settle two wide, coaxed along three wide on the far turn and came five wide into the lane but had no rally while improved position. MIDDLEBURG was allowed to settle along the inside but lacked the needed rally while racing evenly. HYTECK PRINCE was reserved early, moved out to make a three to four wide run on the far turn, came six wide off the bend and lacked a late rally. VAX A NATION was rated along two wide and ridden along three wide on the far turn and weakened. BLACK APPLE was settled back early and had no response. ROTHSCHILD stalked the pace two wide and wilted.
