Footnotes
MY SEA COTTAGE (IRE) was away alertly and crossed over to the inside and dawdled along controlling the pace, was headed nearing the furlong marker but dug in gamely to prevail under a drive. BATTLE CALL was settled on the outside on the first turn four to five wide, then pulled way up to stalk the leader three wide by the half mile marker and then pressed the winner two wide on the turn and made a two wide bid to go on even terms by the furlong marker but hung late while saving the place award. CHICO CHARLIE tracked the pace two wide and swung out four wide leaving the turn and rallied well to just miss the place award. SLIPPIN JIMMY was reserved early and advanced on the far turn and swung out six wide leaving the turn and closed well. HASHTAG NO WONDER chased the pace on the inside and angled out in the lane but had no late punch. UNINVITED GUEST was allowed to settle early, two to three path on the turn and was four wide into the lane but had no late rally. COMPETITIVE SAINT lacked a rally. GOODLUCKCHUCK was settled early and three wide and tired. BUCK WILD was rank and four wide on the first turn and stopped.
