Footnotes
INCINERATOR was outpaced early bringing up the rear, swung seven wide into upper stretch, launched a furious late rally to drive past in deep stretch. BOAT'S A ROCKIN was coaxed from the start, set the pace near the inside, was put to stout urging by the top of the stretch while hounded by an outside rival, dug in to keep that one at bay but was no match for the winner. SWILL stalked then pressed the leader on the turn three wide, lost the crop about the furlong marker, fought on gamely and did not give up but was not enough to get past. DOCTOR JEFF was outpaced early, saved ground on the turn, kept on up the rail in deep stretch but needed more. TIDEWATER advanced outside mildly into the turn, was within striking distance under urging by the quarter pole, came out four to five wide for the drive, needed more. QUICK TEMPO was coaxed forward from the start, settled in behind the leading pair in hand tracking, saved some ground on the turn, came out a bit for the drive, failed to rally. GREAT IDEA was outside a foe toward the rear, swung six deep turning for home, failed to menace.
