MAGIC PATHWAY set the pace from the inside and was soon clear from the pack, was headed nearing the quarter pole and came on again and drew clear in the stretch in the two path to prove best. OUTRUNNER was hard held early on and tracked the pace from the inside, had a late rally but was short of the winner while being clearly second best. ENGLISH LAW was bumped at the start and tracked the pace setter, advanced on the turn and pressed the lead nearing the quarter pole but weakened and held the show award. PARACLETE was settled mid pack and came three wide on the turn and five wide into the upper stretch but needed more. SOLEIL VOLANT was bumped around from both sides soon after leaving the gate and clipped heels before the first turn and continued on to the inside while well off the pace, came about two to three wide on the turn and swung seven wide into the upper stretch and had a mild late gain. HANDSOME PANTS was slightly taken up on the first turn and settled back on the inside, came about four wide into the upper stretch and angled in late but weakened. RUNNER EYES was reluctant loading into the gate, bumped at the start from the outside and clipped heels with a rival from behind and was rank before the first turn, then settled in the two path mid-pack, coming around the turn shifted to the out to the three to four path and came about six wide into the upper stretch and faded. JUS TOO FLY was settled back and came about three to four wide on the turn and swung eight wide into the upper stretch but had no kick. CRAB DADDY was jostled at the break and had to steady slightly, shifted into the inside rail while trailing the field and was no factor. STEWARDS INQUIRY after video review there was no changes.
