Footnotes
CASH THE MONEY sped to the front, set the pace towards the inner rail and under some rating, met an outside bid from FINESTKIND approaching the quarter pole, dueled past the three sixteenths, shook clear under a drive inside the furlong grounds and proved resolute to the wire. VIRTUOSITY had speed then eased back to rate inside and just off the leaders, eased out nearing the lane, worked between runners in the final furlong and finished gamely outside the winner. NOTION IN MOTION , five then four wide, edged up into the lane, chased and gained outside runners leaving the sixteenth pole but flattened out late. FINESTKIND was nudged up between foes soon after the break, tracked the winner from the outside, bid near the quarter pole, sparred to about mid stretch then faded very late. SAM THE SHAM broke a step slow, pulled his way forward to the inside of rivals nearing the turn, checked when in close soon after, angled out for the drive and kept on with effort. CLASSIC ROCK , very reluctant to load, steadied when in close at the start, rated three wide early, had his heels clipped near the three eighths, angled out five wide and finished willingly. PHIL'S PRINCE , off slowly, saved ground off the pace then offered some late run towards the rail. GOLDEN DESCENT flashed speed, rated back a bit, raced between runners into the turn and faded. CORTINA (IRE) , off the pace and off the inside, stumbled when clipping the heels of CLASSIC ROCK near the three eighths, regrouped but failed to mount a rally. XIAO LONG , four wide, faded.
