CHICAGO'S GRAY contested the early pace, gained an advantage in the backstretch, was showing signs of tiring and held. SQUALOTORO saved ground early, and missed after late effort. RACE HOME lagged early and closed late. TORIADOR broke alertly then vied into the opening turn, chased the pace, and weakened. THALES offered little. FOUR O SIX CREED was four wide into the first turn, and lacked a bid. TOOL TIME sent for early speed while three wide into the opening turn, and tired.
