Footnotes
WHO'S THAT BABY contended the pace outside of TELLTALE, took pressure through the final turn and edged away in the stretch. TELLTALE vied inside, pressed the leader in the far turn, was under heavy urging but was unable to sustain the bid that was needed. AFTER A FEW saved ground early, drove four wide at the head of the stretch, and improved position through the stretch. MOHAYMEN DAY sat in striking range while four wide, and came up empty in the stretch. DARE TO COMPARE tracked the dueling pacesetters, and faded inside. NOVEL was brushed leaving the first turn, and offered little. OOPS AND DOWNS drifted out leaving the first turn, and was outrun.
