SNAP COUNT dueled for the early lead inside of MEDELJOHN, rallied determinedly through the stretch and inched clear after a long hard drive. MENDELJOHN (IRE) dueled outside of SNAP COUNT, lost the advantage into the stretch, dug in and was outfinished. DOC COPE chased from the rail, shifted out to the two path, rallied in the final turn, and narrowly held on for show. TRAPEZE experienced traffic early, bid inside, rallied and missed after a good effort. KISS ME HELLO sat in striking distance while four wide, and lacked a kick. H K MELODY trailed early, advanced outside in the far turn, and had nothing left in reserve late. LAST OF WAR chased five wide through the backstretch, and faded. MY BOY CHRISTIAN offered little. SILVERFOOT was not a factor.
