STONE CARVER quickly went to the front, remained unchallenged into the stretch and won handily. PERDITION sat in striking position, went in pursuit of the eventual winner, but was no match and finished up clearly second best. LINCHPIN STORM sat midpack while four wide, was roused five wide on the final turn, and finished evenly for show. ALL RUN was wide into the opening turn, was gapped in the backstretch, advanced quickly outside and closed steadily. ZONE CONTROL fanned three wide, and lacked a bid. MOB BOSS tracked four wide early, and wilted abruptly midstretch. SPORTSCARR was four wide leaving the front side, bid three wide at the head of the lane, lost path then checked out of tight quarters, and yielded. WEDGE POND went wide into the first turn, and tired early. DOUG'S HERO was six wide early, and chased to no avail.
