BARAK broke inward, sat in striking position while three to four wide, rallied four wide into the stretch, dueled gamely outside of ABOVE AND BEYOND and won nod. ABOVE AND BEYOND contested the pace into the backstretch, responded to a challenge from BARAK, dueled determinedly to the wire and was out nodded. EXAMINER brushed leaving, raced at the back of the pack, swung four wide in the final turn, and closed gamely in a multi-horse scramble to the wire. PERDITION allowed to settle along the rail, prompted the pace inside of ABOVE AND BEYOND, and gave way grudgingly midstretch.
