BROWNING ISLAND was in traffic leaving the backstretch, drove five to six wide into the final turn, dueled midstretch outside of JOKER MATT, and got up in time. JOKER MATT fanned three wide leaving the backstretch, chased the leader into the lane, dueled inside of BROWNING ISLAND, but was outfinished. FRANKIE MACHINE trailed early, waited nearing the stretch run, and closed well late to score show. CALI CONQUEST lodged a late rail bid. THUNDER OF ZION saved ground inside, was headed into lane, and yielded midstretch. JULIUS THE GREAT pressed while two wide, dropped back in the far turn, and tired. SPOT ON DUDE vied for the early lead, and faltered into the lane.
