Footnotes
WHO'S THAT BABY tracked five wide in the backstretch, moved up alongside NINE OCLOCK CEASER to challenge the lead, dueled through the stretch, and just held under a late drive from OOPS AND DOWNS. OOPS AND DOWNS allowed to settle inside, swung out at the head of the lane, closed steadily under urging and missed. DIPLOMATICA stalked the pace while four wide, was shuffled back in the final turn, and was outkicked. NINE OCLOCK CEASER set the early pace, was joined by WHO'S THAT BABY into the stretch, dueled and gave way in the final sixteenth. CROWN OF CAIRO offered little. DARE TO COMPARE chased outside, and failed to threaten. *CROWN OF CAIRO was reported by the Official Veterinarian as having bled.
