FED BOY hustled from the break and seized the early advantage, rated nicely while maintaining a length or two at all times, opened up on the turn while under confident handling, and drew off under a hand ride. BOBBY DAZZLER allowed to settle from the break, raced a few lengths off the pace early, then pulled the rider to be up close going into the turn, took advantage of a clear path along the rail to move up to the second position through the turn, then chased the winner home while miles clear of the next finisher. DARK PASSENGER raced close to the pace three wide early, launched a bid from the three-furlong pole, bid three-wide into the stretch, failed to change leads, and faltered in upper stretch. BROOKLAND chased from four or five lenghts back in the early stages, continued to trail through the turn but kept to task and managed to pass one just before the wire. JUSTINFLATION was the closest pursuer to FED BOY from the start, stalked a length or two behind through the backstretch run, started to weaken after passing the three-furlong pole, and had little energy left for the stretch run.
