Footnotes
BIZ BABE was sent hard from the start, established command early, widened the lead through the turn, then held a rival safe under steady handling in the stretch run. OOPS (GB) broke slowly, spotting the field a big head start, saved ground, advanced through the turn, then put forth a good effort down the stretch but was unable to reel in the winner while finishing well clear of the rest. WISH ON A STAR vied between horses pushing the early pace, was put into a drive approaching the three-furlong pole, tipped out from the rail to the three path for the stretch, had some trouble with the lead change, and was unable to threaten the top two. SWEET CITY DOLL raced four wide in the early pace scramble, did not quicken on the turn and lost position, then managed to pass a few tired ones late in the stretch. WEST COAST HARBOR broke well, pressed the pace from between horses, came under a ride late on the turn, then did not have much left to give in the stretch. HERETHEREVERYWHERE hustled from the start, took up a stalking position behind BIZ BABE, could not go on with that one through the turn, weakened approaching the quarter pole, and tired in the stretch. ALBERTA void of speed, dropped far back and was always behind.
