BUZZINGA KARMA went quickly to the front with the rider doing his best to temper the pace, was let loose approaching the three-furlong marker, ran away from the rest, and won as the rider pleased. SAXON SAGA was sent from the break into the early pace mix, tracked a bit off the pace then was sent along on the turn to go after the leader, was no match for that one but kept on well to outlast the rest for second. ATTENZIONE allowed to settle from the break, raced on the inside down the backstretch well off the pace, started a three-wide bid on the far turn, and produced a steady finish to gain and hold third. WHERE'S THE GOLD settled near the rear then launched a bid with three furlongs to run but was outfinished. SPORTSCARR raced close up for the first half-mile, then faltered in the stretch. DERZKII raced at the front of the second pack then was unable to improve. FROSTEDBIRD chased the frontrunner and eventual winner to the far turn and faltered in the stretch. DERECHO DANDY was off a bit slowly then allowed to settle three wide into the first turn, lagged at the rear of the field down the backstretch, started to lose contact with the field heading into the far turn, and was not a factor in the late stages.
