Footnotes
TORIADOR quickly took control, withstood pressure through the backstretch, edged away in the far turn, responded gamely to a looming threat from QUARTERBACK DAK, and held firm. QUARTERBACK DAK stalked the pace while three wide, was roused at the head of the lane, moved up menacingly but couldn't summon the necessary kick to make a winning bid. KEEN FLATTER was outsprinted to the opening turn, pressed from a rail position, and lacked a closing response. YOU'RE THE CAUSE tracked four wide, and tired early. ARREST fanned three wide, tracked five wide in the backstretch and faded.
