PACHECO trailed the field early, lodged a rail bid into the stretch and was along in time. GLAVA vied for the early lead, drew clear leaving the backstretch, was under pressure entering the stretch, drifted out under urging, and was caught in the final yards. WEDGE POND showed early speed, allowed to settle off the leader, chased three wide in the final turn, rallied four wide into the stretch and weakened deep stretch. GONE NUTS saved ground from the rail, was roused at the quarter pole, rallied three wide, was steadied out of close quarters, and yielded. LINCHPIN STORM failed to threaten. RACE HOME tracked three wide through the backstretch, and tired. JOCKEY OBJECTION- An objection was lodged by the rider of GONE NUTS against the rider of GLAVA, alleging interference in the stretch run. After review by the Board of Stewards, GLAVA was disqualified and placed fourth.
