HARD DIAMOND vied inside of JODEYS LIL PAIN for the lead, dueled leaving the backstretch, moved past his weakening rival, and held under a late drive. HOLIDAY'S AGAIN sat in striking position along the rail, waited in the final turn, was set down at the quarter pole and closed gamely, but couldn't get there. SILENT COUNT was gapped early, advanced along the rail in the final turn, and closed late. DOUG'S HERO rated off the pace while three wide, and lacked a kick that was needed. MAGIC TIP rated off the pace while four wide, fanned four wide at the head of the lane and came up empty in the drive. JODEYS LIL PAIN contested the early pace outside of HARD DIAMOND, dueled leaving the backstretch, was unable to move on with the eventual winner and stopped.
