OAK BAY QUALITY took back leaving the chute, took closer order in the final turn, shifted out four wide at the head of the lane, and was along in time. DETERMINED FREEDOM bumped leaving, sat just off the pace from the rail, moved up alongside STONE HOUSE to press the issue, grabbed the lead and was collared late. RATTLESNAKE JACK broke outward into CAPE'S LEGACY, and rallied belatedly, earning a third-place finish. CAPE'S LEGACY sandwiched leaving, chased inside and flattened. STONE HOUSE vied outside for the early lead, was five wide entering the backstretch, set a pressured pace, and had nothing left in reserve late. SAWCHUK offered little. EH TEE EM was never involved. TIME 'N TIME AGAIN chased four wide and tired.
