GONE NUTS broke sharply, crossed over on the field, responded to pressure from WEDGE POND, and kicked away in the stretch. WEDGE POND chased inside, shifted outside of GONE NUTS then moved up menacingly but was unable to reach the eventual winner, and finished clearly second best. LINCHPIN STORM tracked five wide, and bid belatedly. GLAVA saved ground inside, swung wide, and lacked a kick. TAKE CHARGE CURLY stalked three wide, and came up empty in the drive.
