Footnotes
RACE HOME pressed the pace from the rail, gained the lead, moved clear into the final turn, and opened up under light handling. FRIDAYNIGHTSOLDIER was allowed to settle off the early pacesetters, closed gradually but was no match for the winner. TIGERITO contended the pace between rivals, sat in range leaving the backstretch, flattened out and just held on for show. AMEER lacked early speed, closed late and just missed. WESTERBERG vied three wide into the opening, and tired early.
