Footnotes
GYPSY LYNN took control early under pressure from outer rival, lost command at the five-sixteenths pole, battled back from the fence, regained command in upper stretch, disposed of DISCREPANCY with a furlong remaining and drew away. TWILIGHT EMPIRE bumped leaving the gate, trailed two wide into the turn, angled five wide around the bend, put in a late run while drifting out and got up for second. ROMAN EMPRESS prompted the pace from outside, fought between rivals briefly at the three-eighths pole, could not keep up with the top pair midway around the bend, chased three wide into the lane, drifted out in the drive, finished willingly and lost second late. IVORY MOON bumped with inner rival in the beginning, chased between rivals, two wide around the bend, kept trying down the lane but needed to find more. ISABEL LUDLOW climbed early racing towards the rear, navigated the turn two then three wide, summoned a mild rally but could not get by IVORY MOON for a minor award. DISCREPANCY coaxed from the gate, chased four then three deep early, bid three deep on the turn, took over at the five-sixteenths pole, dueled with the winner into the lane, lost command in upper stretch and weakened in the furlong grounds. OUTER SUNSET raced in range for a bit then fell off the pace, ridden along the inside through the turn, moved out a bit in the lane and lacked further response. PUTT FOR DOUGH hopped at the start, chased outside a rival off the pace, exited the bend four to five wide and flattened out. UNWRITTEN CODE stalked the speed from inside, came under a ride while losing ground on the turn and faded down the lane.
