Footnotes
SEE THROUGH IT bumped leaving the gate, stalked between rivals, asked two, three, then four wide on the turn, bid three deep in upper stretch, put a head in front at the eighth pole and maintained a short lead over FOR ALL MANKIND to the line. FOR ALL MANKIND stalked the top pair inside a pair of rivals, was ridden along while easing off the rail, bid between rivals with a furlong remaining and got outkicked by the winner. JERRY'S SPIRIT dueled from outside, cleared past the five-sixteenths pole, led two wide into the lane, challenged by a pair of rivals in upper stretch, lost command at the eighth pole and flattened in deep stretch. MANITOWISH trailed under coaxing, went two wide into the turn, spun four wide into the lane and passed tired rivals. MUCHO DEL ORO dueled inside a rival to the five-sixteenths pole, lost touch with outer rival shortly after, chased on the fence into the lane and weakened. TAPALO stalked three deep in the opening stages, spun five wide into the lane and faded out of contention. WE'RE IN TROUBLE shifted in and bumped leaving the gate, followed in range from off the rail, went three wide into the turn, drifted in then back out late on the turn, moved in at the top of the lane and weakened.
