SUNSET STORM stalked four deep early, challenged three deep on the backstretch, inched ahead past the five-sixteenths pole, cleared late on the far turn, remained clear into the final sixteenth, came under threat from a pair of rivals in the final twenty yards and was able to hold on. PETESOLDFASHIONED dueled from outside then vied between up the backstretch, fought with SUNSET STORM to the quarter pole, chased after that rival into the lane, kept on determinedly through the lane, came back on between rivals late but ran out of ground. REDEMPTION TIME chased a bit off the rail, roused two wide on the far turn, moved out and closed in under left hand urging, challenged in the final twenty yards three deep but was too late. RESEMBLANCE stalked in the three path, outside a rival on the backstretch, went two to three wide into the far turn, spun four wide into the lane and weakened. AMERICAN EMPIRE trailed next to the fence in the early going, angled out on the far turn, exited that bend in the five path and was never a factor. MAJESTIC PALISADES dueled from inside early, fought with outer pair up the backstretch and into the far turn, yielded past the five-sixteenths pole and weakened in the drive.
