GOLDEN ALE sprinted clear and crossed over, opened up on the turn, continued to widen into the final furlong under a drive and remained well clear while kept busy through deep stretch. TIGERHON (FR) traveled on the inside off the pace, had to wait while boxed in on the turn, tipped two wide into the lane and finished well to best the rest and whittle the gap on the winner. DEL MAR JERRY broke a step slow, sat off the pace outside a pair of rivals, took the turn three then four wide, moved into second in upper stretch, was overtaken by TIGERHON (FR) in the furlong grounds and held third. COMMANDER (FR) raced between rivals off the pace then moved inside, saved ground through the turn, tipped out in the lane and summoned a mild rally to round out the superfecta. CARIBBEAN KING tracked out of range outside a rival, went two then three wide on the turn, tipped out at the top of the lane and lacked a rally. WHATMAKESSAMMYRUN traveled near the back along the rail into the turn, angled four wide around the bend, tipped out further at the top of the stretch and improved position. JAIME'S COMMITMENT was antsy in the gate, chased the lone speed outside a rival, lost ground in the two path on the turn and weakened in the drive. HARRY'S ONTHEFLY chased in range three deep up the backstretch, lost ground still three wide on the turn and also weakened. RAGING WATERS hopped a bit at the start, trailed in the opening stages, took the turn three then four wide and was never a factor. ZOFFARELLI (IRE) chased after the pacesetter from the rail, fell out of range on the turn and had little left for the stretch run.
